My name is Beth Joy. When I was a young child I was terrified of dogs because I did not understand them. Since becoming a dog owner almost 20 years ago, I have learned to share a consciousness with all dogs. I am now a well known animal talent manager of my dogs (Bella Starlet, Oscar & Riff) and an animal advocate. I created PURE MUTTS (www.PureMutts.com) in association with BELLA STARLET DOG TALENT (www.BellaStarletDog.com) to help children of all ages to overcome their fears of dogs, in juxtaposition to humane education at every level.  I adopted RIFF from Animal Haven and she is a certified therapy dog in NYC with BideAWee. She entertains the public with her print ads and commercials, but also puts a smile on the faces of the elderly at The Golden Gate Rehablitation Facility in Staten Island and at Cabrini Center for Nursing and Rehabilition in NYC.  She will be starting BideAWee's Reading for Kids program.
